Privacy policy

Effective date / last updated: 8 September 2026

This Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit our websites and landing pages, take our quiz, place an order, or contact our support team.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller responsible for your personal information is the site operator, RVS Commerce SIA, Artilerijas iela 19-31, Riga, Latvia, LV-1001, registration number 40203766164, which sells to US customers under the rhinoBREAK brand. You can reach us at support@ourfamilyangel.com about anything in this Policy.

We sell to customers in the United States, and US state privacy laws apply to you. Because we are established in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation also applies to our processing, whichever country you live in. Where the two give you different rights, you get whichever is more favourable to you.

2. Scope

This Policy covers our websites, subdomains, landing and quiz pages, checkout pages, customer support channels, and the products and services that link to or reference it. It does not cover third-party sites we link to.

3. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, order contents, and any message you send to support.
  • Quiz and survey answers: the options you select on our quiz pages, and the state you choose, which we use to show you relevant results and offers.
  • Payment information: your card details are entered into and processed by our payment providers. We receive a token, the last four digits, the card brand, and the authorization result: we do not store your full card number.
  • Technical and usage information: IP address, device and browser type, referring page, pages viewed, time on page, and similar analytics collected through cookies and pixels.
  • Marketing information: whether you opened an email, clicked a link, or consented to receive text messages.

4. How we collect it

Directly from you when you order or contact us; automatically through cookies, pixels and server logs when you use the site; and from service providers such as our payment processor, fulfillment partners and advertising platforms.

5. How we use it

  • To take payment, fulfill and ship your order, and send order and delivery notifications.
  • To provide customer support, and handle returns, refunds and warranty claims.
  • To personalize the offers and quiz results you see.
  • To send marketing emails and, where you have opted in, text messages; you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To measure and improve our advertising, including building audiences on advertising platforms.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, chargeback abuse and misuse of our guarantee.
  • To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

6. Our legal bases for processing

Under the GDPR we must have a legal basis for each purpose. Ours are:

Purpose Legal basis
Processing and delivering your order Performance of a contract
Support, returns and warranty Performance of a contract
Fraud prevention and site security Legitimate interests
Analytics and advertising measurement Consent, or legitimate interests where permitted
Email and text message marketing Consent, or the soft opt-in for existing customers
Accounting and tax records Legal obligation

7. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to keep your cart and session working, to measure how our pages perform, and to show and measure advertising on third-party platforms. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser.

8. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with parties that help us run the business, and only for that purpose: payment processors and fraud-screening providers; our funnel, checkout and hosting platform; fulfillment centers, warehouses and shipping carriers; email and text messaging platforms and customer support tools; analytics and advertising platforms; and professional advisers or authorities where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing data with advertising platforms for measurement and audience building may be treated as a "sale" or as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws; see Section 12 for how to opt out.

9. How long we keep it

Order, invoice and tax records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires, generally seven years. Support correspondence is kept for up to three years. Marketing contact data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept in aggregated or shortened form.

10. Where your information is processed

We are based in Latvia and work with providers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and the United States. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards. You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply.

11. Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. To exercise any of these, email support@ourfamilyangel.com.

We respond within one month, and may extend by a further two months for complex requests, telling you if we do. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Ours is the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija), Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, Latvia.

12. Your privacy rights under US state laws

Depending on the state you live in (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Virginia), you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Delete the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Obtain a copy of your information in a portable format.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you goods, charge you a different price, or give you a lower level of service.

To make a request, email support@ourfamilyangel.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you want to exercise. We verify your identity by matching the details you give us against our order records, and we may ask for one additional piece of information if we cannot match you. We respond within 45 days and may extend once by a further 45 days where the law allows. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within 45 days and explain our reasoning. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state Attorney General.

13. Additional notice for California residents

In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 3 (identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation inferred from IP address, and inferences drawn from that information) for the business purposes described in Section 5, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients described in Section 8. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

You may exercise your rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing, by emailing support@ourfamilyangel.com or by using a Global Privacy Control signal. California residents may also request information about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California's "Shine the Light" law by writing to the same address.

14. Children's privacy

Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

15. Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls and vetted processors to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
